The Power of Words – BUT & AND in Neurolinguistic Programming Interpretation

In English grammar, ‘but’ might be a conjunction, an adverb or a proposition expressing an opposition, an exception or a contrast in relation to one or more mentioned elements. NLP experts assign a higher value to the this term since it is interpreted as truly engaging word, a manipulating linguistic device which enables the speaker to astutely grab listener’s attention on a particular topic and to make him consider the matter from a particular point of view.

The word but is an extremely powerful device, yet it has a contrastive feature which might put into a bad light the opposing element.

Psychology of Some Students in Examination Hall

A candidate in an examination hall is a close cousin of the boxer in the ring. Both are fighting for a prize or, at least, for some commendation. Their goal is to win, and victory brings fame while failure leads to disaster and frustration. Each victory paves the way for a promotion up the ladder, and the higher one climbs, the more exposed to the public glare one gets. A world boxing champion is like a Noble Prize winner among academics; each is at the apex of his career, but the route to the position can be tortuous and rough.

The examination candidate is not a very normal person for the simple reason that he is under severe pressure, although he is alert and his pulse is fast, he is liable to commit elementary errors without knowing it.

Have you ever dreamt of something and it came partly true the next day? Many have had this experience and that this why there is so much interest in dreams and their interpretation. Sometimes, a dream can change your life forever.

A dream is said to be a part of a person’s REM sleep. Dreams are supposed to be a person’s unfulfilled wishes. The things which we wanted to do but did not are the things we think about in our subconscious and they manifest themselves as dreams. If you are happy and satisfied, you will have happy dreams. If you are sad and dissatisfied, you will have unhappy dreams.
